BY RAIL : Angoulême Railway Station is 20 mins away from Tillac-Gites, with its main TGV rail links to Paris and Lille (travel time to Paris approx 2h20) with onward travel from or to the UK via Eurostar. Eurostar departs from St Pancras International to Paris and Lille. If travelling to Paris, the Eurostar arrives at Gare du Nord, and the TGV to Angoulême departs from Montparnasse ( a few stops away on the Metro). If travelling to Lille, the TGV to Angoulême is boarded by merely changing platforms.
BY AIR : Poitiers, Limoges, Bordeaux, and Bergerac are 1H30 away, whilst La Rochelle is 2 hrs away. Angouleme Airport is 30 mins away. All are served by low cost operators.
BY ROAD : Travel time from St Malo is approx. 4 hours, Caen is approx 4h30 and Calais approx 7h15.
